Avon and Somerset Police have received further complaints regarding  Yeovil Town Chairman Martin Hellier.

Martin Hellier, the current chairman of non-league side Yeovil Town, is currently under investigation for making alleged death threats to a family whilst racially describing a Ukrainian businesswoman as a ‘Slavic Whore’.

However, it appears Hellier who appeared to have lied on ITV West Country News after stating he had made no such contact, citing it as computer-generated text messages, until it was revealed that he left voicemails, referring to the messages on the same evening as the death threats, now has had further complaints made about him to the police.

It’s understood further complaints have been filed after Hellier went on a weekend onslaught, leaving numerous messages and voicemails of hate and terror, some as early as 3.25 AM the night before Saturday’s game and through the weekend.

At one stage, it’s understood phone calls of further death threats by Hellier, whilst the family slept in bed, saw a 999 call made to the police as the Ukranian mother feared for her children’s welfare.

Meanwhile, the actions of the controversial and volatile non-league football chairman have also been reported to the FA, which is looking into taking action against Hellier and the football club.

A spokesperson from the FA headquarters At St Georges, Burton, said: ‘We can confirm a complaint has been lodged, but at this stage, we have nothing further to comment on this specific matter. We have rules and procedures to follow to which we shall follow accordingly.’

Back in Somerset Town, supporters don’t appear to be impressed by the actions of the current owner.

‘ He’s done some good things for the club, needed investment, upgrading the ground, but he let everyone down with his behaviour, which is totally unacceptable. We are trying to kick racism out of football, we have a striker playing for us, who walked off a football pitch in Dallas over a racist slur, and here we have the Chairman of the club calling a Ukrainian refugee a ‘Slavic Whore’ and threatening to kill her, her only connection is that her son took to watching Yeovil Town!’

‘ There is no place for racism in football at all, and all his behaviour is out of order,’ Richard finished.

The player referred to is Yeovil Striker, Frank Nouble, who claims to stand against racism, once walking off a football pitch in Dallas, USA, after being disgustingly racially slurred.

Although Nouble, after his Chairman’s ITV appearance, took to social media to praise his Chairman, despite his racist comments.

Although an advocate against Racism In Football, Nouble has yet to explain his comments.

Whilst the Ukrainian businesswoman woman, described by Hellier as a ‘ Slavic Whore’ has told Global247news:

‘ I feel Hellier used Frank for a propaganda statement after the ITV interview where the chairman told lie after lie; I don’t feel he was aware of the truth at the time or the full facts; my son loves big Frank.’
