Marcus Fysh, MP for Yeovil, has put himself forward in the latest cabinet reshuffle.
Sources in Yeovil Somerset and Whitehall claim that Yeovil MP Marcus Fysh has put himself forward for a cabinet position to Prime Minister Sunak.
It’s claimed Fysh put forward a proposal listing all his achievements whilst MP in the constituency of Yeovil.
What position the Somerset MP seeks in the cabinet reshuffle is not understood.
Fysh’s office this morning did not comment.
Although some residents in Yeovil say they are not surprised.
Richard Webster told Global247news: ‘ It doesn’t surprise me at all, let’s face the facts. He fits the bill perfectly; He’s a pompous, career politician who does make no difference, a perfect fit for the current government shambles.’
Mary Kitto shared the same views, as she declared: ‘ He’s done nothing around here in 8 years apart from publicity appearances at local events. The current Government is a complete circus, so it probably requires another clown.’
Today, the Prime Minister will announce a cabinet reshuffle to try and appease voters, whilst the current Tory Government finds itself behind in the latest polls.
