David Cameron was spotted walking into No 10 Downing Street this morning as Rishi Sunak reshuffled his Cabinet.
The sighting has triggered rampant speculation over what the former Prime Minister is doing meeting with the Prime Minister this morning, with some suggesting he could return as Foreign Secretary.
The last time a former Prime Minister returned to the Cabinet was Alec Douglas Home, who returned to the Cabinet as Foreign Secretary in 1970.
This morning, Rishi Sunak began his reshuffle by sacking his Home Secretary, Suella Braverman.
This comes just days after the Home Secretary published an unauthorised Op-Ed, accusing the Met Police of ‘playing favourites’ when it comes to policing protests.
A No10 source told Global247News that Rishi Sunak “wants a united team to deliver the changes this country needs for the long term.”
