Man arrested after 18-year-old stabbed in Cardiff.
Police have said a teenager is in hospital, and another has been arrested while the incident is not thought to involve a knife.
A South Wales Police spokesman said an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding following reports of a stabbing in North Road, Cathays, at around 2.30 pm on Tuesday, January 11. At this stage, police say the incident does not involve a knife.
An 18-year-old was taken to the University Hospital of Wales with non-life-threatening injuries. His condition is described as serious but stable. It is believed those involved are known to each other.
Police say CCTV footage shows many people in the area at the time of the incident, and officers are appealing for information.
There will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days following the incident.
