Travellers from the UK will no longer be admitted into Spain without a current Vaccine Passport
Spanish Holiday? No Vaccine no vacation!: The latest changes to travel requirement mean that if you have not had your two vaccines at least 14 days before travelling you will not be allowed into Spain.
Accepted vaccines treatments are Pfizer-Biontech, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca, Jansen / Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac and Sinopharm. Your certificate must include:
- Name and surname of the holder.
- Vaccination date, indicating the date of the last dose administered.
- Type of vaccine administered
- Number of doses administered / complete regimen
- Issuing country
- Identification of the issuing body of the vaccination certificate
This applies to children as well.
If you have the NHS passport (Which you can download from the NHS App) it is compatible with the EU COVID Vaccination Certificate. With many regions of Spain now insisting on showing of the passport to enter public places such as Night clubs and restaurants this at least is good news.
Remember though that the UK digital passport has a limited validity date, so ensure you update and download a current version to cover the length of your stay in Spain.
There are some exceptions. For the latest information click HERE
Also you will need the Spanish Locator Form available HERE
Also remember that you must download the QR code certificate for the Spanish locator form within 48 hours of travelling.
Wearing of face masks is still mandatory in all public places in Spain
For additional restrictions by municipality see here
