The incident occurred at approximately 11.50 pm on Tuesday 2 November 2021 in The Mary Shelley on Old Christchurch Road.

The victim – an 18-year-old woman – was waiting for a friend when she was inappropriately touched by a man.

Police Constable Clifford Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “A full investigation is underway into this incident and I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man I would like to identify.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
