Twitter employees will be asked to remove tweets that include any suggestion that vaccines “are used to intentionally cause harm,”“control populations,” or are “unnecessary,” as well as “false claims which have been widely debunked about the adverse impacts or effects of receiving vaccinations.” Although other than promising to coordinate with health officials, the company has not specified how it will decide which claims will be censored

Additionally warnings will be attached to tweets that “advance unsubstantiated rumors, disputed claims, as well as incomplete or out-of-context information about vaccines.”

This policy was applied during the Trump 2020 election regardng voting irregularities and fraud claims.
