A Woman from Bridgend has been charged with attempted murder of a 2-year-old
The shocking news that comes out from the South Wales Police force has once again rocked the Welsh Town who are still recovering from the news of a 5-year-old being murdered and dumped in a river.
Now this latest incident, this time in the Broadlands area of the town, see’s a 2-year-old currently in a critical condition.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police have launched an investigation following a serious an incident in Bridgend.
“Shortly before 8.00 pm on Wednesday (August 11), police were called to an address in the Broadlands area following a report that a two-year-old boy was in a critical condition.
The child was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff where he remains in a critical condition.
“A 31-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in custody.
“Anybody who may have information is urged to contact 101 and give reference *282674.”
Daniel Hughes, who himself lives on the Broadlands estate told Global247news this morning.: “What on earth is going on in this town?
“First Logan and now another attempted murder all in what 2 weeks?” finished the father of three.
