Bruce Springsteen in playing a host of comeback gigs in New York.
USA: Fans banned from Springsteen gigs who had AstraZenica vaccine. However any fans who have had the AstraZenica vaccine will not be allowed to attend. A national newspaper has reported that anyone attending will have to show proof they have been vaccinated.
However, the list is limited to those who had the Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech or Johnson & Johnson vaccine. And fans who have tickets that received the AstraZenica jab will be turned away.
The official website states “At the direction of New York State, Springsteen on Broadway and the St James Theatre will only be accepting proof of FDA-approved Covid-19 vaccines.”
One disappointed fan, Gianna Valencia, posted on Twitter “No Springsteen on Broadway for me”. The Toronto Star newspaper ran a headline saying “Burn in the USA”, adding “The show must go on. But if you got the AstraZeneca vaccine, you’re not invited.”
