Man stabbed at Benahavis drink and drugs party on Spain’s Costa del Sol
A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach during an all weekend house party where teenagers gathered, swilling back beers and cocktails whilst fuelling their energy with illegal drugs.
The party, which like many others, took place in Benahavis, notorious for these type of activities.
Known as the town of criminals, due to the number of gangsters and crooks who associate in the town, saw the police once again have to attend a crime scene in the early hours of the morning.
The stabbed man, bleeding profusely, was sent to the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella, where he was in critical condition.
According to police officials, the emergency call came at around 6.45 AM after a battle between young men had commenced that saw heavy fighting with weapons being used.
On arrival to the villa by emergency services, the stabbed man was reported to be writhing in agony on the floor as blood flowed from a large abdominal deep gash caused by a large sharp knife.
Although the police arrived at a scene of high numbers of youths ‘hanging around outside the property, it appeared the attacker had been on his toes and fled.
A hunt is now on for the knifeman around the Marbella region.
