BREAKING: '10pm curfew on pubs across England' to be announced by Boris Johnson

A man has been found dead in Aberdeen sparking a police investigation.

Emergency crews were called the city’s Great Northern Road at around 10.25 am on Wednesday.

An ambulance was also spotted at the scene.

Cops taped off nearby Colwyn Lane, close to Haudagain roundabout as their launched an investigation.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesman told: “Police were called around 10.25 am on Wednesday, May 12 following the report of the sudden death of a man on Great Northern Road, Aberdeen.

“Enquiries are ongoing and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.”
