Dog treat business rockets to success after appearing on Dragon’s Den
After appearing on the last episode of Dragon’s Den, A natural dog treat business has seen sales rocket.
Opie’s Emporium was the last on the show to present their pitch and received an offer from Tukar Sulyman.
Although within 15 minutes of airing, the company based in Scotland received in excess of 500 orders.
After several hours the order in book was into the thousands.
The Companies website today were forced to send out the message:
We have been absolutely inundated with orders.
Within the first 15 minutes of the episode airing we had 500 orders come in, which is phenomenal, and it’s not stopped since!
We are working round the clock to get the orders out as quickly as we can and we understand that we are not hitting our normal high expectations for delivery times.

All our parcels are sent with Royal Mail 1st Class post or DPD courier service if the parcel is over 2kg in weight.
Since the airing, the business owners have revealed,
“Since filming with Dragon’s Den we have been in talks with Touker Suleyman and his Team and are still finalizing the fine print of the investment offered. We look forward to being able to move forward with it all soon, especially now that Covid restrictions are easing and the impact of Brexit is more manageable. “
