Jet2 suspends all flights and holidays until at least the end of June

Holiday and flight supplier is extending its current suspension of flight and holidays

The suspension will now extend to the end of June.

Meanwhile, another review will take place near the end of May.

Chief executive Steve Heapy announced on Friday all travel will be halted at least June 23 in the wake of the plans, which were announced overnight.

He added that he was “extremely disappointed at the lack of clarity and detail” in the government’s plan.

“Because of the continued uncertainty that the framework provides, it is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to extend the suspension of flights and holidays up to and including 23 June 2021,” he said.
