A body has been found by police in Epping Forest.
Police find body in hunt for missing Richard Okorogheye. They were searching for missing student Richard Okorogheye. On Monday Essex police informed the Met Police that a body of a man had been discovered in a pond in the forest. Inquiries are now underway to find the identity of the dead man. Mr Okorogheye went missing on 22nd March after leaving the family home in Ladbroke Grove, London.
Later, he allegedly took a taxi to Loughton in Essex and was last spotted on CCTV early on Tuesday 23rd March walking in the direction of Epping Forest. Subsequently, after checking records police announced that his mobile phone had not been used since his disappearance. In an interview with The Guardian his mother, Evidence Joel, said “Every day is a nightmare for me now. I feel completely helpless.
