Charlotte Dawson says she has felt the presence of her late father since the birth of her baby son.
The late Les Dawson’s daughter ‘still feels his presence’: She said it is particularly strong since she and her partner Matthew Sarsfield had a little boy. The child, named Noah Dawson Sarsfield, was born in January. It was only a week before the late Les Dawson would of celebrated his 90th birthday. In an interview with the Daily Star the 28-year-old said “I have felt my dad’s presence since Noah has been here. He is definitely around us.
Noah has the same star sign as my dad. And he was born exactly a week before dad’s birthday. So I definitely feel like my dad is around us and looking after us and guiding us.” Sadly Charlotte was only eight-months-old when Les suddenly passed away from a heart attack at the age of 62. She said “I am heartbroken that my dad isn’t going to meet Noah.
But at least he can get to know him through videos and footage and pictures. Noah is so lucky that he can see his grandad that way. As he grows up, I’ll play him clips of my dad from YouTube and home footage.”
Charlotte, who has a tattoo of her Dad pulling his famous “gurning” face, has previously spoken about him. She said her and Mum Tracy hold a festive ritual every Christmas to keep his memory alive. They also regularly visit his statue in Lytham St Annes.
