Homes in the Denver, Colorado neighbourhood were scattered with plane debris.
Homes scattered with debris after engine failure on United Airlines flight: Engine failure on a flight from Denver International Airport to Honolulu was the cause. The indicent happened on 20th February. The flight had only just taken off when one of it’s engines burst into flames. United Airlines flight 328 was forced to turn back to the airport.
No injuries were reported on board or the ground. According to media reports debris from the engine was found in multiple locations in Broomfield, Colorado. The National Transportation Safety Board have started an investigation into the incident.
