A man has handed himself in to police rather than spend lockdown with the people he lives with.

Wanted man would prefer prison to lockdown: Police reported he handed himself in on Wednesday to get some “peace and quiet”. Lockdown can be hard for many people who require their own space. However the man seems to believe that a prison term is preferable to lockdown.

Sussex Police Inspector Darren Taylor posted on Twitter regarding the bizarre incident, saying “Peace and quiet! Wanted male handed himself in to the team yesterday afternoon after informing us he would rather go back to prison then have to spend more time with the people he was living with! One in custody and heading back to prison to serve some further time on his own.”
