Body found in search for missing jogger David Hill In Kent

Police searching for a missing jogger David Hill who disappeared on Wednesday afternoon have found a body.

David Hill, 52, was last seen at his home in Lydd, Kent, at around 2.10 pm on December 30.

Formal identification of the body has yet to take place, however, David’s family has been informed.

The 52-year-old is last known to have been in the Dennes Lane area at around 2.10 pm on that date and has previously completed runs across the country towards Old Romney.

He was last seen wearing a red Adidas coat and black Adidas tracksuit bottoms and is described as being six feet tall, of stocky build, with receding grey hair.

Yesterday evening several emergency services teams gathered to undertake a search of the area.

Emergency services grew more concerned overnight as temperatures plunged across Kent – dipping down past freezing in some places.
