Hunt is on to find £1.8 million lottery winner who hasn't claimed yet

One lucky lottery winner, who purchased their ticket in West Lothian, has not yet claimed the £1.8 million prize they are due.

Players are being urged to check their tickets by lottery bosses after the sum was won on the EuroMillions drawer that took place on 11th December.

The ticket was one of five that scooped £1,886,380 by matching 5 numbers and 1 lucky star number.

A senior winner’s advisor from Camelot, Andy Carter, said “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a massive difference to somebody’s life, and what a way to start the new year it would be. We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.”

The main prize from the mega drawer on that date was won by a Frenchman who matched all 5 numbers and both lucky stars. The winning numbers were 6, 9, 13, 24, and 41 with lucky stars 3 and 12. The unknown ticket holder has until 9th June 2021 to claim their prize and, if they are not in possession of the ticket, they can still get in touch with Camelot but it must be within a month of the draw date. If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
