A song attacking Prime Minister Boris Johnson is battling to become this year’s Christmas number one against Mariah Carey and Ladbaby.
Explicit song attacking Boris Johnson could top the charts at Christmas: The explicit song, by comedy rick group The Kunts, has been rising through the charts in the last few weeks and is titled “Boris Johnson is a F***ing C***”. The track, which is only 82 seconds long, hears the naughty band repeat the lyrics “Boris Johnson is a f***ing c***/ He’s a f***ing c***.” It has recently peaked at number 2 on the UK iTunes chart and is currently number 3 on Amazon Music.

The final Christmas chart will be announced on Christmas Day although the tune by The Kunts will be unlikely to be played on Radio 1 in full. Radio 1 presenter Katie Thistleton said the song has “so many bad words in it, we can’t play it on daytime Radio 1”. Also in the running for the top spot is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, which, although released in 1994, has never been a Christmas number one. Ladbaby, who have hit the number one spot for the last 2 Christmases is also tipped, with proceeds going to charity.
The competition heats up with Jess Glynne’s cover of “This Christmas” and Ed Sheeran who released his single, “Afterglow”, on Monday.
