The whole of the European Union is reportedly imposing a travel ban on the UK until midnight on Tuesday.

It’s reported that the whole block would be imposing the ban after a host of European countries brought in measures against the UK after a ‘mutant’ strain of Covid-19 was identified.

Crisis talks were being held in Downing Street today, amid fears about food supplies to the UK.

Boris Johnson will speak to the nation about the issue from 5 pm.
