At an awe inspiring collision at a McDonalds drive-thru the driver of a car ended up on top of another vehicle and the motorist wasn’t even planning to buy a burger!!
Driver in “epic fail” collision at drive-thru McDonalds: They had been driving past the branch in Snowhill retail park near Junction 41 of the M1 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire on Sunday evening when they pulled off a roundabout in the direction of the motorway when it is claimed that their car clipped a curb by McDonalds and, as they lost control of the vehicle, it ploughed through a barrier, shot up a ramp and became airborne.
Their grey Vauxhall flew through the air and landed on top of a blue Volkswagen whose driver had been in the queue for purchasing food. Although the police said they had difficulty in removing the car no one was injured in the incident. A photograph taken moments after the collision shows the Vauxhall with all 4 wheels off the ground balancing on the Volkswagen and a wall.
A police officer present at the scene took to Twitter and said “This is not how to get to the front of the drive-thru queue. Thankfully no injuries of note but we are having issues removing the vehicle at the minute.”
