IF YOU ARE OR HAVE A TEENAGER DRIVER THEN PLEASE SHOW THEM THIS POST.
The early morning of Saturday 28th November, as a family we were unprepared, as parents we were powerless of what was to become.
Jack left his flat in Northampton very early to get home for breakfast, his journey was going well until he fell asleep at the wheel of the car.
He drifted left into a truck that was parked in a lay-by.
Jack is a very lucky lad to be alive and escape with bruised internals, broken ribs and a broken collarbone.
We are feeling grateful and thankful that Jack is still with us.
PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THE ‘DON’T DRIVE TIRED’ SIGNS”
Jack, who’s now recovering, was very lucky to survive the crash and car crash experts after viewing the images are amazed he got out alive.
Jock Clear, Ferrari engineer, told Global247news: “He’s one very lucky lad getting out of that alive – not many people would survive that impact in a road car, his mother is right though, tiredness is a killer, It’s important to get a good nights sleep before any journey and to take regular breaks, whilst the mind may tell you keep going as you feel fine, in a blink of a second your body can overtire and shut down”
” We wish him a speedy recovery and feel his mother has done a great job spreading the message out” Jock finished.
A police spokesman said in regards the crash: ” As we pulled up at the scene we thought we had the thankless task of having to knock a relatives door to inform them of the worst – somebody was clearly looking down on Jack last Saturday – it’s a warning to every motorist – tiredness at the wheel can cost life”
