NEW IKEA collection point arrives in Granada on the Costa del Sol
IKEA has launched a new ‘click and collect’ destination in the Navada de Armilla Shopping Centre, Granada on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
The new collection point will not offer hours and hours of browsing like some of its other locations, but simply a collection point for pre-orders despite some Ex pat free newspapers calling it a ‘store’.
Customers in Granada and the rest of the area can now order from IKEA’s online site, and their purchases will be ready to collect from the basement warehouse in the Nevada shopping centre within 48hours, and at a cost of €5 for collection.
Although potential customers are not best pleased with the collection charge, Manny Wilkins from Granada said: ” I’ve heard of delivery charges, but a collection charge? – what’s that all about?”
” I won’t be using that service thats for sure, I’ll support local business that will probably offer free delivery!”
