Spain's King Felipe VI on 10 day quarantine

After coming into contact with a person that has tested positive for coronavirus, King Filipe VI is self quarantining for 10 days.

Spain’s King Felipe VI on 10 day quarantine: A Royal House source stated that the King will quarantine for ten days after a Meeting in Madrid today. His forthcoming public appearances have been cancelled. Queen Letizia will continue public duties along with their two daughters.

Spain still has the second highest infection rate in western Europe after France. With over a million and a half reported infections. The death toll stands at just over 43,000.

An additional 26,000 infections have been reported over the weekend since Friday.

The last 14 day infection rate has fallen to 374/100000. Down from 530/100000 at the beginning of November.  Global247News Twitter
