Ricky Lavazza regarded the finest entertainer and singer on Spain’s Costa del Sol has turned his hand to cleaning ovens
Lavazza aged 52, has been established as one of the most popular singers and entertainers on Spain’s Costa del Sol.
Like all those in the entertainment industry, the pandemic has hit his shows and performances hard.
Although the bubbly’cheeky chappy’ originally from Taffs Well in South Wales, now plans a different performance – he’s turned to a splendid oven cleaning performance.
Ricky announced yesterday on his global social media channels:
“So for almost 16 years, I have made a great living from singing, producing shows and organising events on the Costa Del Sol.
Thankfully, I never needed to rely on a ‘day job’, which allowed me to focus 100% on what I do best and what I love.
However, as we know, the hospitality and entertainment business has been very badly affected during this pandemic. I’ve tried to keep busy, however the time has come for me to adapt to the situation.
I am so grateful for the amazing support over the years and I know things will eventually go back to ‘normal’, and I will continue to perform at any opportunity.
But for now, I need to supplement my income with the day job !
So….I have started an oven cleaning service ‘Oven ProClean Spain’.
Ovens, hobs, cooker hoods, microwaves & BBQs.

The resilient entertainer who’s often told audiences how to buy a CD as he has 6 kids to feed! told Global247news this morning:
” You gotta do what you gotta do to feed the kids, oh and the wife” he laughed
“Its terrible what’s happening to all entertainment on the coast right now and all the performers – but I have to face the music”
“I’ve turned my hand to many things over the years before coming to Spain, I was once a Master Baker” he chuckled in his Welsh dulcet tones.
Although on a serious note it appears that Ricky is the finest oven cleaner in town, wife Joanne said: “I’ve had him doing house work for years, let’s face it – he only works a 3 hour shift at night, my ovens always gleaming, especially now as he has been rehearsing hard on it before launching the business, now it’s showtime”
Fans have been fast coming forward to book their ‘oven clean’ with thousands wishing Ricky success with his venture.
Linda Pope who tries not to miss a gig said: ” I’ll be booking, and he’s a lucky boy, I have two ovens!”
Although the big busted blonde asked: ” I wonder if he has a uniform? I still want those tight fitting trousers if he’s to perform in my kitchens”
Lavazza who has spent a small fortune on obtaining all the finest equipment for his new performances, finished with: ” I can’t thank everyone enough for my new bookings, yes I will sing if you want me too, as you know I love singing, I’ve already practiced ‘When I’m cleaning ovens’ – but seriously I am very good and will leave your oven sparkling” he quipped.
