American President Donald Trump mocked CNN for focusing coverage on the coronavirus pandemic and insisted that people were “getting tired of it.”
Calling CNN “dumb bastards,” Trump said, “that’s all they cover” during his rally in Arizona.
“You turn on CNN, that’s all they cover.” Covid, Covid, pandemic, Covid, Covid. You know why? They’re trying to talk people out of voting. People aren’t buying it, CNN, you dumb bastards,” forbes.com quoted Donald Trump as saying.
On the coronavirus infection, Trump said, “if you have it, you have it, you get better.”
His comments erupted laughter from the American patriots who had turned out in droves to see the President in Prescott, Arizona.
CNN hit back saying it was their ‘duty’ to point out the President’s ‘failings’ surrounding the pandemic.
The Hill – another left-wing bias paper – pointed out that the patriots weren’t wearing masks.
President Trump has played down the virus and in the past called it a ‘hoax’ and the ‘China virus.’
“People are tired of COVID. Yup, there’s going to be spikes, there’s going to be no spikes, there’s going to be vaccines. With or without vaccines, people are tired of COVID,” Trump said on a call with campaign staff.
“I have the biggest rallies I have ever had and we have COVID. People are saying whatever, just leave us alone. They’re tired of it.”
