Rally call from Emma Morgan

Emma Morgan from Pontypridd wishes for everyone to give bar staff a round of applause as lockdown approaches

As Wales sets to enter another full lockdown, Emma’s thoughts are for all the thousands of bar staff who once again will not be able to work for at least 14 days due to the Welsh leader Mark Drakeford’s decision to lockdown the country.

Emma is attempting to get a message to go viral across Wales and for the countries pub users to give all bar staff a round of applause as last orders are called.

Emma has stated on social media: “Get this viral, let’s show hospitality staff we appreciate them!!!!” whilst she posted her long appeal

The heart rendering message from the determined Welsh woman has now gone viral across Wales with many beer drinkers ready to applause their locals staff before lockdown commences.

Dai Walters a regular drinker in Pontyclun  a town just outside Cardiff in the Welsh valleys  told Global247news: ” I think its a fantastic idea, I’m going to stay all evening and applaud all the staff in the Windsor tonight”

Meanwhile in Cowbridge Luke James, the son of famous late Welsh footballer Robbie James said” I think it’s a perfect gesture to all hospitality staff and I will go to the Horse And Groom tonight to deliver my round of applause – I also feel for Jayne & Robin the owners, they have only just got reopened really and once again they have to close”

Nearer to Cardiff the village of Taffs Well were in the same support as “Trump Collins” said: ” ” Fantastic gesture idea and I will go and clap the staff at the Taffs Well Inn, my local, – don’t start me off on the politics of this, personally I think it is a complete joke and Drakeford doesn’t have a Scooby – it’s all the staff I feel sorry for”
