Convict takes out and kills two child sex offenders and says he was doing everyone a favor

California convict confesses to killing two pedophiles, claiming he did ‘everyone a favor.’

Jonathan Watson is serving a life sentence for murder and has no regrets about killing two more.

In a letter, Watson publicly confessed to beating two convicted child molesters to death at a California prison.

According to Watson, one of the inmates, David Bobb, ‘taunted’ him by watching children’s programming in a shared prisoner space.

That when he attacked him, clubbing him in the head with a walking cane. He then went further and attacked Graham De Luis-Conti, also a convicted child molester.

Bobb died shortly after en route to the hospital, while inmate Graham passed away three days later.

Both victims were serving life sentences for aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 years old.

Before the attack, Watson said the prison changed his security classification, transferring him from a single-person cell to a lower-security dormitory pod.

Watson called the switch a ‘careless’ mistake and said he left ‘quite a paper trail’ protesting it.

Six days later, a child molester moved into the pod. Watson said the man then began taunting other inmates by watching children’s television programming.

He wrote: “I could not sleep having not done what every instinct told me I should’ve done right then and there.

So I packed all of my things because I knew one way or another the situation would be resolved the following day.”

On the next day—two hours before the attacks—Watson went to a prison counselor and asked for an “urgent” transfer to a more secure facility. He claimed that he feared he might turn violent.

However, the counselor ‘scoffed and dismissed’ him. So he went back to the pod.

Then, Watson saw one of the child molester tune to PBS Kids on the television again.

Watson said in the letter:

“This time, someone else said something to the effect of, ‘Is this guy really going to watch this right in front of us?’

And I recall saying, ‘I got this.’ And I picked up the cane and went to work on him.”

Watson said he then left the housing pod to find a guard and turn himself in.

But while on the way, he spotted a ‘child trafficker’ in a neighboring cell.

Watson wrote:

“I figured I’d just do everybody a favor. In for a penny, in for a pound.”

Watson said he then told the guards. But they didn’t believe him at first until they saw the mess he had left in the dorm area.

Watson later wrote another letter, after local news asked for an interview.

In the letter, he said that he and many other inmates have sympathy for the victims of child molesters. That’s why he believes pedophiles face so much violence from other inmates while behind bars.

He wrote:

“These families spend years carefully and articulately planning how to give their children every opportunity that they never had.

And one monster comes along and changes that child’s trajectory forever.”

Watson continued:

“Being a lifer, I’m in a unique position where I sometimes have access to these people. I have so little to lose -And trust me, we get it. These people are every parents’ worst nightmare.”
