Another shooting in Spain’s Marbella has left a British tourist fighting for his life in Marbella hospital after being shot in the face.
The alarm was raised by a member of the public in the Spanish Costa del Sol resort last night, October 17, who said a fight had broken out and gunshot was heard.
The Spanish police have so far made five arrests since the shooting.
The Spanish cops captured the detainees held in a street called Avenida del Prado in Nueva Andalucia.
The residential area forms part of the municipality of Marbella.
All arrested are also believed to be British, although there has not yet been any official confirmation.
The victim who has not yet been identified, was rushed to Costa del Sol Hospital and is understood to have been shot at least once in the face.
Local football journalist Alan White, originally from Cardiff, told Global247news about the various shootings currently taking place in the Spanish resort.
Brown said: ” This is about the fourth one in recent times, it’s got that bad I have moved out the area – it’s always to do with drugs and gangs, often from the Liverpool regions”
” I’ve moved now, aside from the recent shootings I also had a car blown up by a bomb in my street, enough was enough and I have moved location, too many people get caught up in the crossfire and I am not taking the risk” he finished.
