Police in the West Midlands are asking for help to track down the driver of a Rolls Royce after an incident saw it smash into the back of a Lamborghini.
Driver of Rolls Royce flees the scene: The driver of the Rolls Royce Ghost, worth £250,000, scarpered after the accident which had seen his car crash into the back of a Lamborghini Urus, worth £160,000, in Walsall, West Midlands on Tuesday.
The police posted images of the accident on social media which showed that both cars had sustained serious damage. They said that the driver of the Rolls fled the scene just before their arrival. They took to Twitter to tweet that “This is a very expensive crash and we don’t know if it was the cost or another reason which led to the driver fleeing the scene.
Either way, we have his photo and will ask him very soon. Driver was not driving for the conditions and obviously can’t handle a car like this.” Twitter users responded with one saying “Wow, wonder how much to fix that?” while another said “That’s two very gutted car owners right there. Both will be someone’s pride and joy.”
Aaron Summers, also a keen Tweeter, said “You don’t see too many of them driving around the Black Country, something smells fishy here.” The investigation is ongoing.
