Bars & restaurants will close for 15 days in Spain’s Catalunya in the fight against COVID-19
Spain’s Catalunya region will close its bars and restaurants in a battle to beat the spike and second wave of the deadly virus.
The closure regulation will be just one of many measures including the closures of its universities.
Education will go back to an online basis.
The decision comes after rave parties were broken up over the weekend.
It will come to no surprise to those in Spain and is a stark warning to other regions that the government will lockdown regions who fail to comply with current strict regulatory orders from local governing bodies.
The Spanish government always marked September the 18th as the marker date to consider extra sanctions in the fight against the virus, Madrid has already been sent back to lockdown regulations in many regions, whilst other regulations have been enforced in other parts of the Spain.
