Eden Bar and Lounge in Bridgend has been ordered to close for breaching Covid-19 regulations.
A Bridgend nightclub has been closed after staff failed to efficiently enforce Covid-19 measures for customers. The bar was ordered to close by the Shared Regulatory Service (SRS) – which is a partnership between Bridgend, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan councils.
AN improvement notice was issued to the bar back in September due to concerns of social distancing. On October 3, it was closed with immediate effect after officers returned and improvements had not been made.
The bar is set to be closed for up to two weeks but may be allowed to reopen if measures are implemented instantly.
Officers from SRS also issued warnings to four other bars in Bridgend county borough on September 25.
