Premier League action returns tonight with Spurs v Man Utd - Dele Alli banned over coronavirus jokes

Jose Mourinho returns to Old Trafford as Spurs give Manchester United 6 of the best!

Manchester United were today handed a thrashing at the hands of Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur.

In an extraordinary first half, Bruno Fernandes scored from the penalty spot after just two minutes but Spurs scored twice in the next five minutes through Ndombele and Son.

United keeper David de Gea made saves to deny Aurier and Ndombele before Anthony Martial was sent off for striking Erik Lamela in the face. Lamela appeared to elbow Martial first but his reaction was enough to give the united man his marching orders.

The home side’s defending was poor throughout with numerous individual errors.  Harry Kane hit home the third for Spurs with half an hour gone.  Son added another seven minutes later by poking in from close range for 4-1.

Spurs were relentless in the second half.  Aurier drilled in the fifth and Kane scored a penalty to seal an emphatic  6-1 win.  Global247News Twitter
