A British man has been murdered in Quesada.

He was fatally stabbed in the early hours. A British man is believed to be on the run from  the Guardia Civil.

The fatal incident took place at 3am this morning in Ciudad Quesada.  It is believed that two British men, who had been at a party, got into an argument and later when they were alone together, it is alleged that one man stabbed the other in the neck causing his death. The man is believed to have then fled the scene.

The victim then went outside to seek first aid but he collapsed and died. Guardia civil attended the scene and an investigation is underway.

The judicial commission was called upon to remove  the body and police are now conducting interviews and gathering information in order to find and detail the alleged killer.

Initial reports indicate that two British couples were partying.  The dispute that caused the assault occurred when the two men had been left alone.
