Jon Venables one of two men who murdered James Bulger has been refused parole. Over his conviction for possession of child abuse images.
Jamie Bulger killer Jon Venables REFUSED parole: The father of James, Ralph Bulger, said he could now “rest easy”. After the parole board decision, as he was “convinced” Venables would be released.
In 1993, then 10-year-olds Venables and Robert Thompson killed James, two. After abducting him from the New Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle, Liverpool.
Both thugs were jailed for life but freed on a license with lifelong anonymity in 2001. When they were given new identities and moved to secret locations under a “witness protection” style programme.
Although being released it never paid off. As Venables was soon recalled back to jail for paedophilic offences that included having thousands of child abuse images on his computer. It came after he was also sent back to Jail in 2010.
Now on his third jail sentence, many including Jamie Bulger’s father thought once again the vile brute would again be released. However, those fears disappeared as Jamie Bulger killer Jon Venables REFUSED parole.
His next application will have to wait for a minimum of two years before being considered.
