Total confusion at Cardiff Airport as they make statement saying they are open for business as normal
Cardiff Airport have stated yesterday, that travel from their airport is still open to the public, as it’s not for the airport to “determine” who can and can’t travel.
People have taken to social media to get exact clarification from the Welsh Government who actually own the Welsh based Airport especially as the ‘Vale of Glamorgan’ area, where Cardiff Airport is located, is set to have local lockdown restrictions enforced from 6PM Monday.
The Vale of Glamorgan so far is one of the few areas that has escaped lockdown condition in Wales although the county sits on the edge of the Rhondda Cynon Taff, Cardiff and Bridgend lockdowned counties.
Gareth Collins from the Rhondda said: “Passed worrying just getting on with my life while these baffoons in office come up with daft plan after daft plan”
Whilst Tim Okeefe from Pontyclun said: “Any of this shower of shit make sense? Hasn’t from the start of this in march. Using ‘science’ to manipulate, scare and control a population. The veneer of which is stretching thin now”
In the Vale of Glamorgan Nigel Evans from Cowbridge told Global247news: ” I don’t think the left arm knows what the right arm is doing, here we have the Welsh government locking everyone down whilst their own airport that they bought to the annoyance of all Welsh tax payers is saying it’s business as normal! – you really couldn’t make this up”
