A high speed police chase sees two suspects killed in Greater Manchester
A police chase through the streets of Manchester’s Salford area has left 2 suspects the police were chasing dead.
The fleeing suspects crashed their car at high speed into two others and were killed. Both males.
Two women and a man from another car were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after the horror smash.
Eyewitness Henry Day from Salford told Global247news how he was walking home from work and heard the loud smash, he said:
“It was like something you see on a movie, speeding cars, sirens blazing and then a massive bang as the car came to a halt and smashed into the others”
“The crash took place close close to a railway bridge on Frederick Road, which was closed from Broad Street to Lissadel Street afterwards” he said.
” The police helicopter was up too”
I don’t think the cops were doing anything wrong, they were quite away behind in the chase, the driver clearly lost control and smashed into the other cars,” he finished.
A Greater Manchester Police statement said: “At around 11.40pm on Wednesday 23 September 2020, police observed a vehicle being driven at speed on Frederick Road, Salford.

“One man and two women from a third party vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“No arrests have been made.
