Plymouth's Railway Inn pub bust up sees 4 stabbed and one arrest for suspected murder

A man in his 50’s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after four people were seriously injured near a pub in Plymouth.
Devon & Cornwall Police were called just after ten o’clock yesterday evening to a serious incident at the Railway Inn on Albert Road.
Four people were found with serious but non life-threatening injuries and were taken to Derriford hospital.
The suspect, aged in his 50s, fled the scene by the time police arrived but was later arrested near Exeter after being spotted by cops.
The mass brawl kicked off outside the pub when the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed 4 persons to which medics have described as very serious stab wounds.
Armed police had to be called to the scene and later raided the suspects home but he had already fled.
A local resident who prefered not to be named told Global247news: ” It was manic, it exploded into a fight and then one man pulled out a knife and starting stabbing everyone – the word is around here that it was all over drugs and money, the Railway is a bit of a druggies pub and a bit of a dive to be honest, it’s not the first time trouble has taken place there”
