A US Citizen travelled 400 miles on a Greyhound bus carrying suitcases filled with females chopped up body parts, police say.
The chopped up body parts were found by the man’s family after they noticed a stench coming from the three heavy suitcases.
The perpetrator had reportedly travelled from Kentucky to Markham, Illinois when the remains were discovered on Tuesday this week.
According to Markham police Chief Terry White, the family did not know what was in the bags that were in their home for several days and the family members started to suspect something suspicious after the man did not unpack and guarded the suitcases.
“There were some early reports of a foul odour coming from the bags,” White said.
After the Police were notified they later identified the chopped up body parts to belonging to a woman.
The family were horrified when they opened one of the bags after the man left the house to go to a public library.
It was then they discovered the smell was from body parts and called immediately the police.
According to M police, the remains are the result of a crime they believe happened in Kentucky.
“I knew something was bad that happened then.”
“You see stuff like this on TV,” Scott said.
