Authorities have said that two Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies have been rushed to hospital late on Saturday after being shot in Southern California.
Trump supports LA sheriff’s deputies rushed to hospital: The incident occurred at 7pm on Saturday in Compton. Subsequently, Sheriff Alex Villanueva said in a statement that both deputies were “critically injured”. And they both received multiple gunshot wounds during an apparent ambush.
After the shooting, the deputies, a female aged 31 and a male aged 24 were able to radio for help after the incident. Footage of the incident has been released by the sheriff’s department. And it shows a man walking up to the parked patrol car and opening fire.
Currently, the Authorities say that the gunman remains at large. President Trump took to his Twitter account to say that “animals that must be hit hard”.
