The fabric changes color when it reaches approximately 37.5 degrees Celsius. And has been approved for official use in masks by the Textile Technological Institute
The material also has a high bacteria filtration rate of 98 per cent. Additionally, it keeps its high level of protection after washing and disinfection.

Colorprint says that the fabric can also be used in bracelets or sticky patches to detect temperature rises.
Although anti face mask protester Steven Thomas, who heads an anti-mask campaign told Global247news:
“What a load of old rubbish, another company cashing in on muzzles. Anyone can have a temperature especially thousands of women on the change. If it works it will be constantly changing color ” he laughed.
