The group of Spanish nationals from northern Spain were holidaying in Calpe.
Some of the group complained of feeling sick and sought medical treatment where they were told they had Covid-19.
The Valencia Health ministry then ordered they be quarantined.
In a statement the Valencian government said: “Calpe council took the appropriate measures to make sure the group remained in isolation at their holiday address and of their basic needs were supplied and catered for.”
The young group were also praised for seeking advice straight away.
The group – from the Basque country – are now in isolation for 14 days before being allowed to return home.
Calpe has had 19 confirmed cases of Covid recently but the Valencian government say the situation is ‘fully controlled.’
