Hours after a having a £1.2bn rescue deal approved, Virgin Atlantic are set to cut another 1,000 jobs.
The airline will reportedly announce the huge cull as early as tomorrow, after suffering due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Four months ago, Virgin axed 3,500 jobs when they announced they were closing their headquarters at Gatwick.
A source told Sky News tonight that over 1,000 people risk loosing their jobs, which means the workforce will be halved from 10,000 people pre-covid.
Virgin Atlantic has not commented on the reported job cuts.
