La Liga Spain: Barcelona's Messi scores first goal back since the lockdown

Lionel Messi has failed to show up for Barcelona’s coronavirus testing today as he looks to leave the Catalan giants for the lure of the premier league.

The 6 time winner of the  Ballon d’Or stunned the world of football by asking to leave the Nou Camp. Messi believes there is a clause in his contract which would allow him to leave for free.   Barcelona are contesting this claim and want a world record fee for the Argentine.  Messi is angry at the situation and as a result has not turned up for today’s testing.  It is likely that he will miss the start of pre-season training tomorrow. The rest of the squad has turned up for testing including Luis Suarez whose future is in doubt.

Messi has had a sensational career in the Catalan capital scoring over 600 goals and winning 33 trophies. It is thought that he wants to link up with former boss, Pep Guardiola, at Manchester City.
