Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele have both tested positive for coronavirus and have withdrawn from France’s Nations League squad.
France are due to face Sweden and Croatia at the start of next month, but neither Pogba nor Ndombele will take part.
Both players will now have to self isolate for 14 days meaning they will miss out on their clubs pre-season training.
There has been no comment from either Manchester United or Tottenham Hotspur.
Didier Deschamps has called up Rennes’ teenage sensation Eduardo Camavinga, 17, to replace the two absentees.
