'Legal age of consent must be lowered to 14' Epstein's lawyer Alan Dershowitz says

Dershowitz, who represented Jeffrey Esptein in 2008, said “voluntary sex is so common in their age group“ and believes “Statutory Rape Is An Outdated Concept.”

The Statutory Rape comments come in his book, “Statutory Rape Is An Outdated Concept”,in the late 90s.

Yet Dershowitz took to Twitter recently to defend his comments and agrees the age of consent should be lowered to 14 as “voluntary sex is so common in their age group.”

He also says ‘If a 16 year old can have an abortion she can choose to have sex.’

So the man who represented Jeffrey Esptein – a man charged with numerous sex crimes against children – and who has been accused by some of Epstein’s victims of raping them as well, has wrote a whole book on the children’s age of consent being lowered.

Dershowitz suggested that the age of consent ‘should be lowered to 15, or perhaps even 14.’

His comments have caused mass outrage with people taking to social media to out him.

Dershowitz has always been a dark shadow, representing controversial figures such as Jeffrey Epstein and O.J Simpson.

Dershowitz got Epstein a plea deal and the lenient sentence of only 18 months in prison for child sex crimes.

He told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency last year that “I have no misgivings and I will continue to represent controversial people. That’s what I do. If I’m in a case, my job is to get the best possible result.”

Dershowitz, a prominent defense lawyer and emeritus Harvard University law professor, is now facing accusations of sexual abuse from two of Epstein’s alleged victims — Virginia Roberts Giuffre and Sarah Ransome.

He denies the accusations against him.
