Donald Trump’s younger brother Robert Trump, has been hospitalized in New York.
The details of his condition are unknown at present though he is described by several sources as “very ill.”
Kayleigh McEnany, the White House Press Spokesperson, has confirmed the hospitalization adding that the president would be providing more details this evening. The president is expected to visit his brother today before travelling to his country club in New Jersey for the weekend.
It is not the first time this year that Robert Trump has been hospitalized. In June he spent over a week in the intensive care unit at Mount Sinai hospital in New York.
He was recently involved in a failed legal battle against his niece Mary Trump to prevent her from publishing a tell-all book on the US president.
‘Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man’, was released in July after a judge lifted an order preventing Mary from publicizing or distributing her work.
Robert had sued his niece stating that the book violated the terms of a confidentiality agreement she had signed almost 20 years ago.
He is the youngest of the five Trump siblings.
