British Airways is set to become the Europe’s first airline to offer passengers pre-flight coronavirus tests.
The British flag carrier is said to be working with leading high street chemist Boots, who will conduct the testing at a number of its UK pharmacies.
The airline which has seen a massive fall in passenger numbers has said that it was looking at all options to make travel as safe as possible.
Dubai based Emirates Airlines has previously introduced the service in March – alongside insurance for all travellers valid for 31 days from the day they travel which covers them if they catch the potentially deadly coronavirus.
