Parachutist slams into parking complex and dangles 40 feet in air by chute

At 2am on Sunday the man had jumped into downtown Cleveland by parachute, hitting a parking building.

He was then left to dangle 40 feet in the air before Cleveland Fire Department could rescue him.

Videos on social media have gone viral of the man as he swoops in and huts the concrete on the side of the building with a sickening thud.

It is only his parachute which latches onto the top of the building which stops him falling 40 feet to the ground below.

After he was rescued, he claimed he had jumped from a friend’s private plane but witnesses say he jumped from The Luckman apartment building in downtown Cleveland which is why many people had their phones out recording in anticipation.

‘Look at bruh tho…oh damn! Oh he’s stuck…we gotta help him,’ a man filming the incident yelps.

The man, who hasn’t been named, was taken to hospital with a broken ankle and was questionned.

Cleveland Fire Lt. Mike Norman said a group of four people were base jumping, which is jumping off tall buildings or hilltops with a parachute.

It is unclear if any charges have been brought to the group.
